Idea to Live Product in a Day
Website by lunch. Working product by sunset.
By the end you'll…
- A live website on your own domain with a waitlist that sends a welcome email
- A brand direction, tokens and imagery decided on purpose, not by default
- A working CRM with sign-in, row-level security, AI follow-up drafts and a daily digest
- A harness that keeps you safe: secrets out of git, every push checked, every change logged
- A personal Kit on Telegram that knows where you are and what to build next
Curriculum
8 lessons- 1Working With Claude CodeFree preview
Start from the Braintied starter, open it in Claude Code, and learn the six habits that keep a fast build from falling apart.
40m - 2Pages and a Brand
How a Next.js app is laid out, and how to give it a brand that looks decided instead of generated, with the /design pipeline.
1h 15m - 3A Database You Can Trust
Supabase gives you a Postgres database and sign-in. Migrations keep its history, and row-level security makes the database itself refuse to leak data.
1h - 4Keys and Secrets
API keys are passwords for services. Where they live, why they never go in git or in the chat, and the guardrails that catch mistakes.
25m - 5Email With Resend
Every email your product sends goes through one function. Send from your own domain, and make magic-link sign-in work for everyone.
40m - 6AI in Your App
The AI SDK talks to any model with one API. Get text back, get checked structured data back, and write prompts that don't make things up.
50m - 7Work That Runs While You Sleep
A web page only runs while someone looks at it. Inngest runs your product's work on a schedule, after an event, and through failures.
40m - 8Ship It
GitHub holds the code, Vercel runs it, Cloudflare points your domain at it, and a check gate makes sure a broken build never reaches the live site.

Galen Oakes
Fractional CTO · Builder
Self-taught engineer based in Northern California. Building Braintied full-time since late 2024: shared stack, live stage, and client ventures that ship in days. Sentigen, Parlor, Kulti, Swishh, and more. Fractional CTO for founders and venture studios who need someone who has actually shipped the thing, not just consulted on it.
I built these courses because the gap between "I can read code" and "I'm shipping products" is real, and most resources pretend it doesn't exist. Every lesson is what I wish existed when I was closing that gap myself.

Common questions
- Do I need to know how to code?
- No. The courses are designed for people who can read code but aren't shipping products yet. If you've followed a tutorial or used GitHub, you're ready.
- What AI tools do I need?
- A Claude Code subscription is the primary tool. Claude.ai Pro also works for most exercises. We cover setup in lesson one.
- Is this format video or text?
- Written lessons, like a good engineering blog, not a talking-head video. Each lesson is designed to be read in one focused session and followed along in your editor.
- Do I get lifetime access?
- Yes. One-time purchase, lifetime access to the course and any future updates to that course content.
- What is your refund policy?
- Full refund within 7 days of purchase, no questions asked. Email galen@braintied.com with your order.
- Is this for me if I already know how to code?
- Yes, especially if you're a developer who hasn't shifted to an AI-native workflow yet. The skills compound fastest when you already understand what good code looks like.
Ready to ship something real?
One-time purchase. Lifetime access. Full refund within 7 days if it's not for you.
